Twas the week before Christmas

Twas the week before Christmas -so what shall we do

Head out to Florida...lets see what's new!

We went to visit Adam and Sandra - Tahlia and Elyza - the weather was mostly rain and clouds - only a limited amount of sun - so there was lots of reading to do

While Adam finished his last day of teaching...Sandra took us to a restored train depot - with lots of trains to see & ride

There were trains outdoors & Indoors

This CSX was in the Middle of a multiple hundred car freight train

...and it was movin!

This is a G scale outside exhibit

This is a larger scale - ride able

We Also wanted some Fresh Seafood - so we went to find some....

I Think this place ought to have something fresh....Joe Patti's

Look at the length of that fish counter....take a number....we went from 60 - to 100 and back up to 30 in about 20 minutes....70 customers!  yet fast service.
We made two trips here!

That Tuna be Fresh!

Live is pretty Fresh...."you are probably wondering why I called this meeting"

Whatchalookinat!?

WE Also took time to open presents - a few each day - to keep the excitement mostly contained.

grandpa made a doll bed

And there were some new dolls

And new animals

OH....Animal house!   probably close to real life for those who have real pets!

The Doll stroller was a hit.....with the dolls and the animals....we could barely pry it from her hands at bed time.

Even Though it was cloudy and a bit rainy...we decided to try our hand at fishing at Fort Pickens National Park   (no license needed)

Nice 14.5 inch Pompano

Grilled of course

There is also time needed to make fine baked goods and teach the craft of cookies and cinnamon rolls

Cracked that egg all by herself!

If you think this may go badly...it did - lick does not mean bite!

And when the sun came out....we went out.

WE had Lots of fun and great times.....Thanks for checking our blog

The End

November Storm

A Major Storm swept upon us Nov 12 - with big winds.   It was still warm out - in the 50's so lots of people were at the beach checking out historic waves.

The Camera was not very cooperative but here are a few shots.  The North Pier is covered by waves.

Had a Party for Elizabeth...she wanted doughnuts!

...And she got a pony!...she was not too sure of it.

We grew a mushroom without even trying....

Built some bookshelves
