Broden shows us how it's done

Okay you guys - this is a sirloin tip brat from Dave's meat market - I will show you how to eat it!

"Everyone is gonna want one so ya gotta stare em down and show em you intend to eat all of it - there is no chance of sharing something this good"

"then ya can tease them by squeezing the end and making it pop up out of the bun to show off the unbelievable size, texture and flavor, they will almost want to reach out and grab it ...however

I show I am always in control and I will eat all of this...That is the way ya do it! - Now go get your own!

Pool Party Diving School

Do you guys know how to dive?  I'm scratching my head trying to remember how to do this....James you go first!

James leads off with a Kangaroo jump - in Olympic competition medals are awarded for the best sound of the water hitting your pocket...(that would be the stomach)  disqualified if you loose your lunch in the pool.

This is a nicely executed cannonball

(This could end poorly)  Often called the "sunburner" as landing on your back "correctly" will produce a red skin effect that looks a lot like sunburn...

"me scared"

Loren "Walks the plank"

Hey!  - I survived

I will show you how it is done!

Ahh! The lifeguards - always ready!

July 2 Party

It was a joy for us to host the family for Fourth of July on July 2 get together - we feel blessed to have a pool and to be able to offer it to family and friends.  While we took many fine photo's we are only posting a select few.

Michelle:  "did you say party"

Broden:   "I just want more food!

Happy Flippin Father's Day

Clayton and Michelle and the boys came over for Fathers day.  Clayton began by flipping burgers and sweet onions for all of us - and Michelle made a fantastic Reese's peanut butter pie!

The rest of the day was spent flippin in and out of the pool

Clayton shows how a flip off the board requires a solid landing...extra points for holding your mouth correctly

Looking for the rest of his Mariachi band in the hot tub

Michelle coaching her diver

Broden showing his safe swimming attire - it has saved him more than once so far...and he highly recommends wearing a life jacket!

Noah and Clayton practice a little slow pitch

Clayton and Michelle, Noah and Broden...and "the bun"  gave me the gift of a weather station - but since it did not rain today - I worked in the yard.

What a great day

Thanks

Here is the Other Project

Doing the math - I found out that the city of Wyoming will let you hook up to the fire hydrant to fill your pool...caclulating it all out..this was a lot cheaper...and faster than running it through the meter.

Nancy...dont let that 2-1/2 inch line get away from you...(go ahead - ask her the story)

Judy came over to help watch that hose!

It filled in just 2 hours

We are oficially "pool heads"

The view from the deck - Nancy's first swim.  She did not want to go under and get a brain freeze!

Pools open - stop on by!...(okay call first!)

Project updates

The other day we were waiting for the pool paint to "cure" so I decided to power wash the deck.
It came out looking like new...and I then discovered what poor planning it was...Now that you have a clean deck..ya gotta seal it or something!

So here I am staining a deck...that railing took a whole day and a whole gallon!

Here is the "done deck"  complete with a 7 piece craig's list find of patio furniture..good work Nancy
